Accommodation & Leisure

  • The Society Hotel (Bingen)

Bathhouse, spa, and casual wellness retreat. They also have dorm bunks for affordable accommodation if you don’t want to camp. (20 minutes from build site.)

  • Tollbridge Park (Parkdale)

A camping area that accepts RV’s just a couple minutes away from the build site. It’s first come first serve. There are coin operated showers and there is river access but it isn’t deep enough for swimming. (5 minutes from build site)

  • Carson Hot Springs

Vintage mineral bathhouse with private soaking tubs and wrap treatments. Fantastic for sore muscles. I am mostly adding this because the hot springs are worth a visit, but they also have hotel rooms. (35-40 minutes from build site)

Sip cider or wine, enjoy a wood-fired pizza, and soak in one of the best views of Mt. Hood in the valley.

  • Analemma Wines

A beautiful biodynamic winery 5 miles East of Hood River.

  • Gorge White House

Just down the highway, it’s a nice outdoor space to lounge outside and sip cider or wine. You can pick fruit in season and there is also a food cart.
